Domain
CorpseFlowers is the personal domain of Rachel-Rebecka. The domain name and hosting was purchased through the company FreeHostia on November 12th, 2008. I highly recommend them, because in the short time I’ve been their client, their service has been nothing short of superb. My hosting package is rather small right at the moment, but I have plans to upgrade as this site expands and grows.
So, what is a corpseflower, you ask? The name was taken from the thirteenth track of Cradle of Filth’s full length 2008 release, Godspeed on the Devil’s Thunder. The name just stuck with me. But since the singular form was already taken, I registered with the plural. Here are the lyrics:
“I have told you the truth and everything as it happened.
All the evil that I could do has been accomplished.
I am redeemable and I believe
The clemencies of God
And suffrages of the Holy Church
Have succoured me with much mercy.
I have only ever wished to satisfy my desires.”
